OUR ZERO-WASTE PHILOSOPHY

Our slow fashion garments are handcrafted by artisan communities in India, supporting women in the workplace and preserving ancient methods of textile production. We follow a zero-waste design and production process, producing minimal quantities to eliminate excess waste. Every purchase contributes to women empowerment projects in India through our charity partners.

We want you to love your Daughters of India piece. If it’s not quite right, we offer exchanges and store credit within 30 days of shipment.

LODGE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

To lodge a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Portal

• Exchanges: Need a different size? We’re happy to exchange for the correct size. A prepaid return label will be provided. Lodge your exchange through our Returns Portal.

• Store credit: If you’d prefer a different style, we’ll issue a Daughters of India Gift Card for the full value. Your credit never expires and can be used on any piece, including new collections.

• Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from shipment. Unfortunately we are unable to honour a return outside of the 30 day return period.

• Items must be returned in original condition — unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, folded neatly in the Daughters of India tote bag provided.

• A prepaid return label is included with your order.

• Shipping costs are non-refundable.

• No returns, store credits, or exchanges on final sale items.

• Once you have placed your order we are unable to make any changes. This includes cancelling or swapping of any sizes or items within your order. Rest assured we do have a flexible returns policy should you receive your order and it’s not quite right for you.

• We aim to process returns as quickly as possible. As we are a small team please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be processed once we receive the item. Please be aware of processing delays for Sale/Discount/Promotion items.

• We are unable to offer price adjustments for promotions and discounts. Promotions and discounts cannot be applied retroactively to orders placed before a promotion commenced or after it has concluded.

• Please note Daughters of India takes full responsibility for incorrectly supplied items. Should there be such an issue with your order please email our customer service team hello@daughtersofindia.net

LOST OR MISSING RETURNS

Lost or missing returns are not the responsibility of Daughters of India. We strongly advise using a trackable return shipping service to ensure your return is delivered safely.
